Head Goddess of Organization

Chairs the meetings, ensures each committee member is on track with their responsibilities, supports members when needed. Flags problems that require discussion or action, etc.

Past Head

Provides valuable expertise and guidance to the current Head.

RDR Sec Goddess

Prepares meeting agenda, records meeting minutes, retains committee lists, retains soft copy of RDR documents (ie. Proposal letters).

Charity Liaison

Typically this person played a primary role in suggesting the chosen charity. As such, they become the primary liaison with the chosen charity.

Cash Donations

Boobs Galore

Obtaining cash donations from corporations or individuals. Record and track donations. Collect logos for back of T-shirt and supply to person responsible for T-shirt.

Volunteer Coordinator

Responsible for determining what areas of the event need volunteers, recruiting, and ensuring the volunteers have all information needed to make their jobs run smoothly. Includes recruiting volunteers from with the Hash and also from the Charity.

Auction Collections

Responsible for collecting live or silent auction items. Includes promoting to the hash club the need for items. Arranges for items to be stored in a location. Collects auction item form from the donator. Ensure form is filled out accurately.

Responsible for collecting registration forms and fees. Works closely with on-line registration (web master). Supplies counts to Haberdashery person and Hall/food person. On day of event, mans the registration table and signs people in

Hall & Dinner Organization

Responsible for securing the hall, ordering dinner, hall set up, decorations, etc.

Entertainment

Organizes entertainment for the evening.

Banker

Projects budget to establish registration price. Maintains record of revenues and expenses for report to committee. Deposits and writes cheques. Provides financial information to the Treasurer.

Money Cans

Organizes the money cans. May include refurbishing the cans from previous years, handing out the cans to people who can collect during the run, rolling and counting the cash upon return to the hall. Recruits counters and coin rollers. Orders the cards to be handed out during the run to prospective donors. Secures prize for top collector.

Swill Master

Ensures swill is ordered for entire event (except hash holds). Responsible for set up of swill table for before the run. Recruits as required. Includes all swill types.

Auction Coordinator Team

The Auction Coordiantor Team and their team of volunteers, ensure that all auction items are numbered, have bid sheets, and are placed on tables for viewing. Gathers bid sheets, notifies successful bidders to pay, etc. Organizes additional volunteers where necessary.

Set Up and Take Down Coordinator

Organizes a crew to help with set up and take down.

Unclaimed Auction Item Gatherer

Won't Swallow

Takes outstanding items at the end of the evening for follow-up after the event for payment and delivery of leftover items.

Haberdashery

Secures the haberdashery item given to all participants. Handles all details of shirts including artwork and sponsor logos. Estimates the number required in each size, including extra shirts for sponsors.

Auction Treasury

Compiles the master list of auction items and cash donations. Completes donor information for each item to provide to charity for tax receipts. Updates the spreadsheet with the successful bid details, and then sorts the bid sheets by alphabet. Hands off the bid sheets to auction volunteers to find successful bidders. Co-ordinates cashiers to take payment for items, passing off paid sheets to auction inventory for disbursement of items. Ensures the auction items (including live items) are recorded with their selling prices and all checks and balances are in place. Liaises with the charity for tax receipt issues.

Webmaster

Creates and maintains the RDR web site with up to date information. Includes on-line registration. Works with the registration team.

Official Blabbermouth

Promotes the RDR and events supporting the RDR (like pub crawl). Basically gets people interested and excited about the event.

Hash Trash

Ensures the Hash Trash covers all RDR information that Hashers need to know.

Pub Crawl

Finger Food

Organizes and promotes a pub crawl one week prior to the event.

Fashion Dominatrix

Helps hashers with their shopping needs. May organize an outing at a second hand store with charity volunteers or any hashers. Helps out at Red Dress Run swap, typically held at the Senior’s lodge a week or 2 prior to the event. On day of event, checks dresses and applies make-up where needed.

Set the runs for the RDR. Organizes the hash holds by securing locations (ie. pubs/bars/on the street) and obtains the swill for each one.

Master of Ceremonies

Keeps the night on track by announcing what’s happening during the evening, house keeping, etc.

Auctioneer

Works the crowd to get top dollar for auction items.

Database Designer

DJ
