Special weekend format for the 20th anniversary of the EH3 Red Dress Run...

The Red Dress run is the Edmonton Hash House Harriers biggest annual event with over 200 runners. Male and female runners alike, don red dresses and run (and party) on the premise of supporting a charity. The weekend format includes beer drinking, food, a live charity auction and the ledgendary red dress dance.

The 20th annual occurance of this peculiar idiosyncratic event will take place over the weekend of June 14th & 15th, 2013

	Red Dress Run 2013 Weekend Schedule In recognition of the 20th Annual Running of the EH3 Red Dress Run Event - we have decided to make this a unique celebration with changes in the format. What is different you may ask? This event is so awesome it takes place over TWO days!
7:00pm, Friday June 14th	Friday night is going to be an awe-inspiring FORMAL Masquerade party featuring the EH3 Band of Choice - Edmonton's own BIG RUBBER BAND! In between sets of mind-blowing tunes will be a LIVE Auction and at some point in the night we will have a run complete with even..you guessed it...a Hash-Hold. There will be a late lunch served and of course a cash bar that opens early and closes late!
3pm(ish) Saturday June 15th	Saturday is all about the Run! It will start later in the day - let's say a hang-over friendly and merciful 3ish. The run is featuring multiple hash-holds with food! It will be a mobile party and lots-o-fun! The evening will end at the granite with more dancing, late lunch and a cash bar! Although the venue is the Granite...no food will be served from the Granite...nor food that has the texture nor flavour of granite. We have approval to bring in our own yummy out-side food - and so be it!
	Oh yah...SWAG items of up to $20 dollar value will be included in your rego fee. SWAG is included whether you choose to wimp-out and go to just one day or party-your-ass-off the entire weekend. (Of course we hope you join us for the entire week-end!) An extra special RDR Commemorative Garment is being designed and will be available for ordering soon. This extra special item is not included in your Rego fees. Stay tuned for additional information.

The 2013 RDR Charity is Youth Empowerment & Support Services Funds raised from the Edmonton Hash House Harriers' 20th annual Red Dress Run will support Edmonton based Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS), an important not-for-profit organization that supports Edmonton youth facing difficult realities with services that range from emergency shelter to longer- term residential programs and personalized guidance and support. Proceeds from this year's event will support the introduction of an innovative Trust Based Relational Intervention Program providing the YESS' youth workers with valuable training on an approach that has proven to help struggling kids overcome the effects of trauma, neglect and abuse to become self-supporting, contributing members of our community.
